Cool! This reminds me of a scene out of the Wen Spencer book "Tinker" where a "Gossamer" is hanging over the airfield. A giant, genetically engineered lighter than air creature with "gossamer" wings, use as a dirigible.

it's not. then the butterfly would have been black. it's the wing, scanned on top of the neg.
