It feels like a stupid idea, to combine 2 frame or treat a frame in2 separate ways. But it works amazingly. You made me stupid.

technically, it's one full frame and half-frame double exposure.

Your works have amazing colors :D

What's your concept for this one?

I think that lots of DA's photography artworks(including mine) are lack of concept/theme/story-line, on the other hand it's very eye-catchy and emotionally-captivating-somehow...

what do you think?

i think photography and design owe pretty much everything to painting, traditional and modern art, but tend to disregard their conceptual meaning because they have other purposes. that's not a problem of DA, but rather comes from the dual nature of photography in general.
so, answering your question, i have to say first of all that i'm not a photographer, but a russian poet. and second - that the only reason i'm in photography and design is because i'm a digital person. this is because, like we say in russia, my hands grow from my ass, which means i can't do traditional art because i always mess it up. digital is ok for me, because i always have a save as option. film photography is about as close as i can get to traditional art.
therefore the concepts that i put in my work are very much influenced by traditional artists (De Chirico for example), russian poetry (repeatedly referencing nature/birds/ships/planes/industrial/etc) and most of all photography itself.

in short - i don't do this at all. those are my holga's dreams.

True there's always a "save" button in digital world. I get how you see photography.

I had been very digital since the first time I realise the beauty of art. Too much digital effect reminds me of rainy days: I can't go outside and smell the sun on my body as I run. I'm thinking about teaching myself to paint.

Great, you're a russian poet :D foreign art makes me happy. I just watched a movie based on novel Eugene Onegin. Pushkin reflects beauty and tragedy through his characters and plot. Although I haven't read the novel version. It's hard to find :(

what's your favourite movie, currently?

ps. say hello to your holga, I'm his number 1 fan.

Eugene Onegin the film is pretty far from the original, since it's a poem, not a novel, and is most known for the author's commentaries about the things happening in the story, rather than the story itself. but it's an ok movie i guess. either way, can't imagine a better way to shoot it. you can read the english translation of the poem here: [link]
there was another translation here [link] , but this website's down at the moment, not sure when it'll be up again.

favorite movie... can't think of one in particular. maybe Tarkovski's "Stalker"...
